EFILive V8 Software

V8.4.92

·         E98 calibration B7012 “Injection Pulse Times Individual” was incorrectly set to “hidden”.

·         Added DMA PIDs for E98 operating system 24000207.

·         Changed CMT controller to indicate that check sums are not managed by EFILive and to allow BBX flashing to proceed even when the check sums have not been updated.

·         Fixed “Access Violation” error that may occur when a calibration that displays data using US Customary units is open and the “Properties” window is opened and closed. The [Units] tab in the “Properties” window is no longer visible when units or unit conversions are currently in use. All EFILive windows must be closed before any units or unit conversions may be edited.

·         Added option to highlight calibrations that are displayed in segments different from their physical address location in the controller’s flash memory. This allows a tuner to easily identify calibrations that affect the checksums of segments other than the segment under which they are displayed.

·         Added base *.cam files for CMT, AITCM6A, AITCM6B and AITCM6C so that tuners can add/create their own *.cax8 calibration maps for those controllers.

·         Fixed spurious “Enter Auth Code” dialog box popping up sometimes in the [F3: Tune] window.

·         Fixed “List Index Out of Bounds” error when the tune file search option attempts to sort the tune files on a column that contains blank data.

·         Fixed messages displayed in the [F7: licenses] window when no device was connected to indicate that no device is connected.

·         Fixed E40 low octane table showing units of rpm instead of degrees.

V8.4.91

·         Added E55 and E77 to list of controllers that can be flashed using a user supplied Lua script.

·         Fixed _efiBbxCreate() command line function that was ignoring the “overwrite” flag option.

·         Fixed scan and logging support for T93 Global-B controllers.

·         Updated check sum display for some Cummins HD controllers (multiple check sums are now displayed instead of one overall checksum).

·         Display status of the Digital Signature Table for some Cummins HD controllers now that some calibrations have this being rolled out.

FlashScan/AutoCal V3 Firmware

V3.00.164

·         Fixed scan and logging support for T93 Global-B controllers.

FlashScan/AutoCal V2 Firmware

·         None.

Limitations

Limitation #1: When logging DMA PIDs (i.e., PIDs whose names end with "_M" or "_DMA"), if the ignition is switched off for an extended period while data logging but data logging is not terminated, then when the ignition is switched on again the data log automatically continues. However, the DMA PIDs may no longer return valid data.
Workaround: EFILive recommends stopping the data log and restarting the data log when switching off the ignition for extended periods.

Limitation #2: When logging DMA PIDs (i.e., PIDs whose names end with "_M" or "_DMA"), that are specific to a custom operating system such as DSP2 or DSP5 PIDs when running a stock operating system, the values returned by those DMA PIDs will not contain valid information and should be ignored.
Workaround: Ignore unsupported DMA PIDs.

Limitation #3: When opening CMF (CM2450B) Cummins 2022 tune files, the EFILive software will complain with the following message:

EFILive cannot determine some OS specific data.
Most likely because the data is from a controller that has
not yet been added to the EFILive software.

Please email the file to [email protected] for analysis.

That is expected and the message may be ignored. We have only added the option to open CMF 2022 stock files so that EFILive can flash stock files. EFILive cannot be used to update the check sums of modified files. Modified files cannot be flashed. You do not need to email the file to EFILive.
Ignore the message if you are opening and flashing a 100% stock tune file. Do not attempt to flash a modified file, it will fail at the end of the flash and the vehicle will be left in a no-start condition until a stock file is flashed in.
Workaround: None.
