Known Issues:

·         The E92 controller's serial number is not displayed correctly in the V7.5 software. Please use the V8 software to display the E92 controller's serial number.

Enhancements:

·         When opening a tune file from Windows Explorer, either by double clicking on it or right-clicking and selecting “Open” and the file cannot be opened for any reason, then an error message is now displayed and the file is not loaded. Previously the open would fail silently and no erro rmessage would be displayed to the user.

·         Updated *.ctz file format. Files saved in the latest version cannot be used in previous versions.

·         Allowed editing of various fuel limiter axis points for E86 controllers.

·         Beta warning message now has a "Do not show this warning again." option.

·         Added segment part number and checksum comparisons when comparing two tune files.

·         Added E47 PIDs: EOP_ABS, EOP_REL, O2S_FT and O2S_FTSTAT

Bug Fixes:

·         Synchronized version compatibility numbers between V7.5, V8 and FlashScan/AutoCal firmware.

·         More user friendly error message is now displayed when attempting to open *.ctz files that are supported for reading and/or flashing in the V8 software but that are not supported for editing in the V7.5 software.

·         Fixed DTC lists for E39 OS 12666135 and 12654753.

·         Fixed "Invalid Floating Point" error for E78 OS 12654014.

·         Bug fixes for existing E92 operating systems.

·         Fixed table errors in E86 12660050 (Main Injection Timing, No Pilot).

·         Double clicking on compared calibrations does not display the calibration.

·         AFR was not displaying 25.00 when reading "free air".

·         Script playback on tables that have duplicate/repeating axis labels was failing. Such tables are now identified as "ambiguous" and are not updated at all. Duplicate/repeating labels occur when there are not enough significant digits available to display the axis labels in the user's selected units (i.e. for example when displaying grams/cyl in custom units such as oz/cyl the axis labels can be duplicated).

·         Access Violation when attempting to update all calibrations from the comparison window.

·         Access Violation when updating EPA/Restricted calibrations from the comparison window. EPA/Restricted calibrations are no longer displayed in the comparison window on US based PCs.

·         Updated for compatibility with firmware V2.07.109.

·         Fixed incorrect scaling for some controllers during pass-thru logging for PIDs: SAE.MAP, SAE.MAF, SAE.EQ_RAT and the SAE wide band PIDs: SAE.WO2S11 thru SAE.WO2S24.

·         Script playback was crashing when running a script that referenced calibrations that were not visible on the target PC. For example: emissions calibrations that may not be visible on US based software installations.

EFILive V8

Known Issues:

·         When logging DMA PIDs (i.e. PIDs whose names end with "_M" or "_DMA"), if the ignition is switched off for an extended period while data logging but data logging is not terminated, then when the ignition is switched on again the data log automatically continues. However the DMA PIDs may no longer return valid data.

Workaround: EFILive recommends stopping the data log and restarting the data log when switching off the ignition for extended periods.

·         When Black Box Logging PIDs from an ECM and TCM simultaneously and a PID is selected from the transmission controller (TCM) that has an identically named PID in the engine controller (ECM), (i.e. RPM) then when the log file is opened in the V8 software for viewing, the TCM PID will be displayed as if it originated from the ECM. The PID's data will have correctly been logged from the TCM, only its name will appear to indicate that it was logged from the ECM.

Workaround: None. It is a restriction of the *.efi (V7.5 log file format). That restriction will be removed and the TCM PIDs will display their true origin once the V8 scan tool software is available.

Enhancements:

·         Updated *.ctz file format. Files saved in the latest version cannot be used in previous versions.

·         Changed the way remote unlock keys are entered for tune files and bbx quick setup files.

·         When dragging files to FlashScan/AutoCal using EFILive Explorer the selected sort order of the displayed files was defaulting back to unsorted.

·         Added extended DTC status and associated legend/descriptions for [F4: OBD]->[DTCs].

·         Controllers' Code, VIN and OS are now displayed at the bottom of the scan tool window.

·         Updated scanning support (DMA PIDs) for E41.

·         Beta warning message now has a "Do not show this warning again." option.

·         Added a "Copy Complete" message to notify the user when quick setup files have been successfully programmed onto an AutoCal or FlashScan device.

·         Corrected support for scaling for generic PIDs: MAP, MAF, EQRATO and WO2Sxx when loading *.efi files into the V8 scan tool.

Bug Fixes:

·         Synchronized version compatibility numbers between V7.5, V8 and FlashScan/AutoCal firmware.

·         Editing certain combinations of filenames in the [F5: BBx]->[F6: Quick Setup] window could cause an "Access Violation".

·         The E92 controller's serial number was not being displayed correctly.

·         Fixed "File header is truncated." error after attempting to synchronize authorization codes with a remote AutoCal or FlashScan device.

·         Fixed [F8: Tools]->[F7: Copy]->[Copy] option to allow long running copy operations to be interrupted without generating an "Access Violation" error.

·         Fixed initiaization when opening the [F6: Devices] window, the configuration data was not being set to default values if/when no device was connected and the Edit->Properties->Settings configuration specified that the data be initialized from the (non-existent) connected device.

·         Increased CALC PID names in the [F5: BBX]->[F2: Scan]->[V7] compatibility window from 11 characters to 15 characters.

·         Selecting "Perform Test Flash Only" would not result in a test flash, instead a live erase/flash would be performed.

·         [F4: OBD]->[SRT] results were not being retireved for VPW based controllers.

·         When opening a dashboard with only an engine controller defined and the currently open dashboard has both an engine and transmission controller defined, the transmission controller is not cleared.

·         After a failed flash, Cummins controllers will display a "Range Error" when using the [F4: OBD] option to display controller information.

·         "Open File Location" option in the [F8: Search] window was not working.

·         Updated for compatibility with firmware V2.07.109.

·         Fixed incorrect scaling for some controllers during pass-thru logging for PIDs: SAE.MAP, SAE.MAF, SAE.EQ_RAT and the SAE wide band PIDs: SAE.WO2S11 thru SAE.WO2S24.

·         Fixed DTC codes not displaying correctly when loading a V7 *.efi scan file into V8.

·         Fixed [F4: OBD] controller name/type headers not displaying correctly .

·         Some EGT PIDs had units of ° instead of °C.

·         Added PID validation option for E41 controller.

·         Fixed "Access Violation" error when viewing/editing calculated PIDs after closing and re-opening the scan tool window.

·         Fixed "Range Error" when selecting calculated PIDs that do not contain any executable script/code.

FlashScan/AutoCal

Known Issues:

·         When logging DMA PIDs (i.e. PIDs whose names end with “_M” or “_DMA”), if the ignition is switched off for an extended period while data logging but data logging is not terminated, then when the ignition is switched on again the data log automatically continues. However the DMA PIDs may no longer return valid data. EFILive recommends stopping the data log and restarting the data log when switching off the ignition for extended periods.

Enhancements:

·         Updated *.ctz file format. Files saved in the latest version cannot be used in previous versions.

·         Controllers that do not support reading (such as E86/LML) are now hidden when viewing AutoCal's simple menu.

·         Added support for reading/flashing controllers other than engine and transmission controllers.

·         AutoCal Read/Prog/Full options that are not available (i.e. that used to display as "N/A" are now hidden and not displayed at all.

Bug Fixes:

·         Synchronized version compatibility numbers between V7.5, V8 and FlashScan/AutoCal firmware.

·         When a controller's read or flash script file (*.obj) cannot be found when black box reading or flashing, the error $050C "Operation not supported" is displayed, instead of the generic "File not found" error message.

·         AutoCal "Switch Tunes" option was not being hidden on the simple menu when requested to be hidden.

·         Fixed error $0106 when reading FlashScan/AutoCal device settings.

·         Fixed device settings problem that cause the AutoCal splash screen to contain invalid data.

·         When re-flashing after a failed flash, FlashScan/AutoCal was incorrectly requesting that the controller be licensed again.

·         Fixed incorrect scaling for some controllers during black box logging for PIDs: SAE.MAP, SAE.MAF, SAE.EQ_RAT and the SAE wide band PIDs: SAE.WO2S11 thru SAE.WO2S24.
